Biography

Dr Winsy WONG is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She obtained the Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy at The University of Hong Kong. Dr Wong is a member of the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists and Hong Kong Institute of Speech Therapists respectively. 

Dr Wong has the research interest of developing non-pharmacological intervention to dementia. She has delivered presentations at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference at Netherlands. Besides, her expertise area is aphasiology and she serves as the Newsletter editor of the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs). In 2019, she has received the 2019 NIDCD-sponsored Academy of Aphasia Young Investigator Travel Fellowships. She is also an Editorial Board Member of Cogent Gerontology.
