簡歷
李忠揚博士曾在澳洲、中國內地及香港工作,擁有廣泛的臨床經驗,這有助他在康復工作上有效地實踐職業治療理論。他曾在澳洲大學任教,二十多年的教學經驗使他在理大康復治療科學系教學時更得心應手,亦有助於補充學系享有盛譽的職業治療課程。李博士的學術背景、臨床技術、在本地及國際間建立的網絡都有助他的研究及教學工作。李博士透過提供社區服務,建立了大小不同的教學平台和研究合作關係,這對教育工作具有重要的戰略意義。他卓越的教學工作獲得了認可,包括在2005年至2014年期間,獲澳洲國家教學辦公室(坎培拉)、科廷大學(西澳洲)及其健康科學學院、科廷大學學生協會授予多個教學獎項。
李博士以患者為本、社區為基礎的研究工作引起了社會大眾強烈的興趣。在眾多項目中,他特別著重研究有特殊需要的駕駛者的評估和安全,如年長的駕駛者和患有柏金遜症、中風、認知障礙症或自閉症的駕駛者。他還從事上肢康復治療的轉譯研究工作。此外,他亦為本地社區提供咨詢服務,並與國內及國際組織合作,研究如何改善道路使用者的安全。他的研究有效提升患者的生活功能,令他們可以重新投入社區及職場。李博士由開始教學至今,已成功獲得共115萬澳元的研究資助,並在權威科學期刊上發表過90篇科學文章和71篇期刊論文,以及撰寫了五篇書本章節。李博士曾在科廷大學成功培訓九位博士及六位碩士研究生。
