曾敏霞博士于2005加入康复治疗科学系。被任命为副教授前, 她是位物理治疗高级临床导师。曾博士拥有丰富的物理治疗临床和教学经验。她在香港,澳洲及英国获得了研究生的学历。于2013年, 她获得香港物理治疗学院院士(肌肉骨骼物理治疗)的资格。她现在是新界东联网荣誉高级物理治疗师。
她的博士学位研究专注于机械性颈部疼痛患者, 从而了解他们的颈椎和胸椎的动态互作。她的研究兴趣是以人体脊椎为重点,她主要研究的对像为患有不同的脊髓功能障碍的人士, 从生物力学的角度, 分析患者脊柱的运动和活动控制能力。她亦热衷于开发颈部功能障碍的临床分类系统, 长远而言, 这系统将对管理颈部疼痛相关的问题, 有很大的帮助。
曾博士喜欢与学生们通过各种形式的教学活动进行互动学习。她采用综合方法,以促进学生的学习成效,并帮助他们应用自己的知识于临床推理和实践。于2009 及 2018, 她分别获颁学系及学院教学奖。
