Biography
Ms Cecilia Ho obtained her bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, completed her master's degree in Physiotherapy, and postgraduate diploma in Sports Medicine from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
During her early career in New Zealand, Ms Ho worked at an acute sports clinic and Pilates studio, where she gained experience in the management of acute sports injuries and various musculoskeletal conditions. Soon after, she was appointed as a clinical supervisor for physiotherapy undergraduate students at the University of Otago. After returning to Hong Kong, Ms Ho worked at the Centre for Orthopaedic Surgery and the Rehabilitation Clinic at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Ms Ho has solid exposure in a wide range of areas that include post-surgical and musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation; screening assessment for athletes and scoliosis assessment for adolescents and clinical supervision for Physiotherapy students. She has a specific interest in the management of knee and back conditions, scoliosis, shoulder pain, and tendinopathy.
