陳女士在香港理工大學取得物理治療學理學士學位和醫療護理學 （物理治療學）理學碩士學位。
陳女士在小兒物理治療領域工作超過30年。 她曾擔任屯門醫院高級物理治療師及部門經理。 在陳女士加入香港理工大學之前，她曾擔任香港兒童醫院專職醫療部部門經理，並負責七個專職醫療專業。
陳女士專攻小兒物理治療，尤其是神經康復領域。 她熱衷於對患有神經系統問題的兒童進行運動和步態分析。 在過去25年，陳女士與小兒神經內科團隊及神經外科團隊緊密合作，為腦癱兒童制定全面的痙攣管理計劃，而該計劃隨後更擴展到患有神經系統問題的成年患者。陳女士的工作取得了成就，並於2013年和2014年兩次榮獲醫院管理局頒發的傑出團隊獎。陳女士還進行了多項有關兒科康復和運動分析的研究，並在本地和海外會議上展示研究成果。 陳女士更從事教學工作二十多年，專攻兒科專業，曾於香港及中國內地多間大學擔任兼職高級講師。
陳女士現時擔任香港物理治療師學會的兒科專研小組主席，更代表香港成為國際兒科物理治療師組織（IOPTP）世界物理治療協會的代表成員。 她亦於2015至2022年期間受邀擔任世界物理治療大會的摘要審稿人。 陳女士亦獲邀擔任Journal of Musculoskeletal Science and Practice 及 Hong Kong Physiotherapy Journal 的審稿人。 同時，她是香港痙攣管理學會和香港神經肌肉疾病學會的理事會成員。
