The BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy programme is different from other programmes at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. We learn theoretical knowledge, and also need to apply what we have learned in the classroom to practice. In addition, the programme offers us a variety of learning opportunities outside the University such as community service and local and overseas clinical placements. I am very proud to be a physiotherapy student, as the students enrolled in this programme are the most outstanding at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. We are warmhearted and are most willing to help you if needed.
WU Yuxuan
I am currently in my first year of study in the 4-year BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy programme. Throughout the year, I have been provided with chances to gain in-depth knowledge of the human body, which will equip me to be an effective physiotherapist.
At the same time, PolyU has provided me with numerous chances to communicate with friends from other countries. This has broadened my horizons and encouraged me to learn about various cultures, and has helped me to develop an understanding of how I will be able to cooperate with co-workers and patients from different countries in my future career. Meanwhile, students from various majors are allowed to study together at PolyU, which often inspires me to consider things from different perspectives. I am very much looking forward to the next three years!
