Dr Song Aotian has led his team to work towards energy efficiency acceleration by inventing Vacuum Insulated Glazing, a nationally recognised technology that boosts the energy-saving performance of glass used in buildings. Not only did his invention win a number of accolades, but his company also scooped the Excellence Award in the Enterprise Group of the 10th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. It was even named a National High-tech Enterprise, a Shenzhen High-tech Enterprise, and one of the top 100 Enterprises in Longhua District, Shenzhen.
