The public talk titled Adorning the Self - Feminine Enchantment and Social Changes in the Life of the Modern Woman by our Assistant Professor of Culture and Theories, Dr. Sandy Ng was successfully held at the Liang Yi Museum in Sheung Wan on the 17 Oct evening. Dr. Ng presented the changing life of the Modern Woman in the early 20th century in China, Japan, and The United States and the challenges they faced in terms of self-adornment and individuality. Some beautifully crafted historical designs were shown to complete the audience’s imagination of the early days.
