"Fruituage" is a project that intertwines pickled fruit together with Chinese characters, particularly emphasizing the radicals "Wood (*)", "Water (JK)", and "Human (1)". With in-depth research in Chinese typography, the project design uses the symbols "Wood", "Water" and "Human" in conjunction with the "果語 (Fruituage)" of Pattern and Genseki gothic hybrid typeface. By applying innovative packaging that promotes the long-standing culture of Chinese characters on traditional snacks, this project offers a rewarding experience of Chinese characters through sweet and sour tastes.
