Biography
Previously, he directed the BA Design Program at Mexico City’s Tecnológico de Monterrey and taught at the MA and PhD levels across various universities. His most recent work consists of investigating acts of making from a first-person-plural perspective, and it has produced material outcomes that include design products (ranging from furniture to typefaces), participatory frameworks (such as experimental workshops and geographically distributed projects), and research tools (like analytical methods and data visualization systems). Such contributions have been awarded multiple prizes, published in leading peer-reviewed journals, presented in conferences and panels, or exhibited in galleries, museums, fairs, and biennials internationally.
