Dr Dahua Shou
Limin Endowed Young Scholar in Advanced Textiles Technologies(利民先進紡織科技青年學者席), Associate Professor

Dr Dahua Shou is Limin Endowed Young Scholar in Advanced Textiles Technologies (利民先進紡織科技青年學者席) in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and an Associate Professor at the School of Fashion and Textiles (SFT). He serves as the Program Leader of MSc in Intelligent Wearable Technology (亞洲及中國首個“可穿戴科技”研究生學位) and Head of Future Intelligent Wear Centre, SZRI.

Dr. Shou has received The Fiber Society’s 2023 Distinguished Achievement Award, an annual honor given to an individual researcher worldwide. He ranks among the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide in 2022 and 2023. Dr. Shou has also won the Gold Medal at the Geneva Invention Exhibition in Switzerland and the TechConnect Global Innovation Award twice in the United States.

He serves as an Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member for seven SCI journals (Q1/Q2) and is the Deputy Director of the Expert Committee at the National Textile and Apparel Comfort Technology R&D Center, China Textile Engineering Society.

Dr. Shou will chair The Fiber Society Spring 2025 Conference in Hong Kong, themed “Future Fibers for Wellbeing, Intelligence, and Sustainability”.
