Dr Jeanne Tan awarded Caring Ambassador for research with H.K.S.K.H Welfare Council

Dr Jeanne Tan, Associate Professor of ITC, has been awarded ‘Caring Ambassador’ for her contributions to social responsibility.  Her research work involves developing tools for multi-sensory therapy for dementia victims. PolyU was also nominated by the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (H.K.S.K.H) Welfare Council and H.K.S.K.H. Lok Man Alice Kwok Integrated Service Centre, who are the working partners of Dr Tan, for ‘Caring Company’ under the Caring Company & Caring Organization Scheme launched by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. PolyU subsequently received the title of Caring Company. This award commends and publicly recognises business organisations that demonstrate good corporate citizenship.
