(1) Smart wearable technology, including textile based energy harvesting, conversion and storage devices, wearable photonics and electronics, fiber, flexible sensors and actuators, artificial muscle, artificial skin sensors, soft robotics, etc.

Fashion and Textile Design
Research in this area involves four key directions:
(1) Cultural design, including fashion and textile design innovation with traditional and modern cultural elements, costume art and fashion creation, HK fashion style, fashion and textile arts, wearable arts, etc.
