Mr. MK Michael Cheung obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, and Statistics, followed by a Master’s degree in Operational Research and Applied Statistics with distinction. After that, he worked as a research assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Optometry, focusing on the intersection of AI, data analysis, and medical applications.

Michael has a strong interest in applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical modeling to real-world challenges, particularly in healthcare and medical technology. His work has ranged from hospital system modeling and oncology screening using machine learning to AI-driven solutions for myopia detection and eye healthcare. He has published research in reputable conferences and journals and has presented at academic events. Additionally, he has collaborated with professionals across disciplines to drive impactful research in medical AI applications.

Currently, Michael is focused on developing AI-driven medical applications, particularly in leveraging machine learning and data-driven insights to improve early disease detection and healthcare accessibility.
