Location of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is located at the centre of the city. It is easily accessible by various means of public transportation:
- By MTR
Head for Hung Hom Station on East Rail Line or Tuen Ma Line, then take the footbridge at exits D1 or A1 to get to the campus. - By Bus
Take any tunnel bus passing Cross Harbour Tunnel to the Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza bus stop. Then take the footbridge to get to the campus; or Take any bus routes stopping at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University bus stop at Cheong Wan Road, which is the main entrance of PolyU. - By Taxi
Take Urban red taxis and drop off at our main entrance at Cheong Wan Road.
From the airport to PolyU
- By MTR
First take Airport Express from Hong Kong International Airport to Tsing Yi Station. Next interchange to Tung Chung Line for Hong Kong Station at Tsing Yi Station Platform 4. Then interchange to Tuen Ma Line for Wu Kai Sha Station at Nam Cheong Station Platform 2. Get off at Hung Hum Station and take the footbridge at Exit A1 or D1 to the campus. A single journey takes around 40 minutes for the ride and costs HK$65 (with Octopus)/HK$81.5 (without Octopus). For more details, please read the MTR website . - By Bus
Take Cityflyer route A21 from Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) Bus Terminus to Hung Hom Station. Take the footbridge at Hung Hom Station Exit D1 or A1 that leads you to the campus. It takes around 75 mins for the ride and costs HK$33. For more details, please read the Citybus & NWFB website . - By Taxi
Take Urban red taxis to go to PolyU and drop off at the main entrance at Cheong Wan Road. It costs around HK$280 and takes around 45 mins for the ride. Additional charges occur for large baggage. The toll and return toll are both payable by a passenger for cross-harbour hiring. For details, please read TAXI FARE.
Direction to The Chiang Chen Studio Theatre (CCST) of PolyU
- From Railway Terminal (Hung Hum Station)
Take the footbridge at Exit D1, walk to the end of the footbridge you will see a staircase. Take the staircase to the ground level, cross the road and go straight for around 1 minute, you will arrive at the main entrance of PolyU. Follow the signage at the campus to get to CCST. - From Cross Harbour Tunnel Bus Station
Take the footbridge that is nearer to the tunnel entrance, and then turn right, walk to the end of the footbridge, you will see a staircase. Take the staircase to the ground level, cross the road and then go straight for around 1 minute, you will arrive at the main entrance of PolyU. Follow the signage in the campus to get to CCST. - From Campus Area

Campus Access Arrangement and Requirement
Participants must hold a valid Vaccine Pass and be able to present the vaccination/recovery record via the Leave Home Safe App (LHS) when entering the campus. Both visitors with Blue Code or Amber Code on LHS are allowed to enter the campus for the conference, but the latter category is restricted from a certain activity/ entering specified premise. Please refer to here for details.
Only participants who fulfilled the Vaccine Pass requirement will receive an QR code for campus access through email near the conference date.

Campus Accessibility
Most Buildings on campus are accessible via ramps or lifts. Signs are available inside cores to indicate the location of wash rooms for the physically disabled. Connections between campus and Hung Hom Station as well as bus stop Cross Habour Tunnel Toll Plaza (most platforms) are accessible via ramps and lifts.
