We are pleased to announce that Ms Chau Chung Hang, our year 4 student from the BSc (Hons) in Nursing programme, has been offered the Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2022 with the maximum value up to HKD150,000.
With this award, she is now undertaking internship for research related activities in clinic at Queen Mary Hospital with her mentor, Dr Cheung Ka Shing Michael, Clinical Assistant Professor from the University of Hong Kong, who is also a medical doctor and involves in big data. Her plan is related to data science and biological engineering and this internship will end on 30th June 2022.
The Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award is one of the most competitive scholarships and it selects and awards 25 outstanding undergraduates from local universities each year. The Scholarship aims to provide recognition to outstanding undergraduates in universities in Hong Kong as well as opportunities to widen their internal/Mainland exposure and or undertake internships in local Inno Tech companies. During the Scholarship period, awardees will also receive guidance from a designated mentor in the relevant industry.
