Students are normally not allowed to register simultaneously for another programme of study that leads to an award.  Students who wish to apply for concurrent registration in another programme of study leading to an award from PolyU or elsewhere while registered as a candidate for a research degree at PolyU must obtain prior written permission from the University.  Failure to obtain such approval may lead to disciplinary action, including the discontinuation of study at PolyU.
