You are required to submit an application for student visa to the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (IMMD) via PolyU upon admission. As it may take 8 to 10 weeks for IMMD to process your student visa application*, you are strongly advised to submit it as soon as you have received either a conditional or a firm admission offer from PolyU.

You will be informed of the details of visa applications, immigration regulations, health care, cost of living and other non-academic matters of concern to non-local students if you are offered admission to one of our programmes.
