Aims & Characteristics

Programme Aims

The primary purpose of the programme is to develop leaders in sustainability for fashion, textiles and creative industries in Hong Kong and mainland China, and to transform fashion, textile and creative organisations using the latest technology and management tools for sustainable growth with respect to economic, environmental and social aspects. Our graduates are expected to demonstrate professional competence, strategic thinking and lifelong learning capability.

Programme Characteristics

The MA in Sustainable Fashion and Innovation is a unique programme that integrates theories and practices of sustainability for fashion, textile and creative industries in Asia. Under the guidance of professors with expertise in the field, students are required to complete a 9-credit Capstone project that can bring impactful sustainable innovations to their company. Additionally, students will learn about the latest developments in social and environmental compliance audits.
