Student Message

As one of the first cohorts of graduates of the MSc in Microelectronics Technology & Materials of the Department of Applied Physics at PolyU, I deeply appreciate the unique charm of this discipline. Microelectronics requires us not only to have rich experimental experience and a solid theoretical foundation but also to keep up with the latest international technologies. Fortunately, the Department provides us with an excellent learning environment, including a class in the cleanroom equipped with advanced equipment and the latest EDA software, as well as support from engineers at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute.

Not only was I immersed in a strong academic atmosphere but I also benefited from a humanistic approach on campus. I have had the opportunity to meet several outstanding microelectronics scholars who are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring towards students. They provided us with tremendous support, offering both academic advice and help with daily life. These experiences greatly enriched my academic perspective and interpersonal skills, contributing to the most valuable part of my learning journey at PolyU.
