Introduction and objectives:

Given the tight study schedule of SYA students and the global pandemic situation, the SYA Project is organizing a creative “Internationalization-at-home” (IaH) project for all SYA students. This project aims to involve Hong Kong SYA students to connect with university students from Canada and Italy in a virtual exchange lasting for a month. Each student will be paired up with a foreign student and to communicate through WhatsApp and video chat to enhance your intercultural communication skills and language skills and to broaden your cultural horizons and international exposure.

Project period:

22 Feb – 21 Mar 2021
Participating students may be invited to the project briefing before 22 Feb as well.

Eligibility:

All SYA students from different disciplines with good English proficiency are welcome.

Registration closed, activity for 2020-2021 ended. Students who are interested in it may stay tuned to our promotion.

Based on the pilot nature of this international collaboration, only limited vacancies will be offered. SYA Project will carefully select the most suitable participants if the registration figure exceeds our capacity.
