Hello, this is Alice, a year 4 student in Tourism and Events Management. Before studying in PolyU, I studied the same major in HKU Space Community College.

In my point of view, studying at university and community college is totally different. In PolyU SHTM, the course structure is complex and funny. I learned critical thinking, self-motivation and teamwork are more important. Especially in the WIE, the Hotel Icon established a fantastic internship program for the student to learn the operation side and the administrative side.

When I was in year 3, I joined the SYA orientation day and monthly gathering which enriched my Ulife and built my interpersonal relationship. If you would like to get more useful information from SYA, feel free to ask me~
