Ms YEUNG Ming-yee
Assistant Engineer – Aircraft maintenance, Hong Kong Express Airways Limited
Ms Yeung Ming-yee acquired her Bachelor of Engineering in Air Transport Engineering from PolyU’s Interdisciplinary Division of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering (AAE). Upon graduation, she joined Hong Kong Express Airways as an Assistant Officer in Maintenance Control. She completed her Airbus Training and obtained the HKAR-66 Aircraft Maintenance License (B1.1) in 2019. During her tenure, Ms Yeung has continuously pursued career growth, earned recognitions and secured several promotions – she is now an Assistance Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in charge of aircraft safety, line maintenance and formulation of technical solutions for day-to-day maintenance. In 2023, to cater to the company’s operational needs due to business growth, she completed the Airbus A320/A321 training and became a base maintenance certifying engineer. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Ms Yeung has demonstrated a strong commitment to both her industry and professional community. In her undergraduate years, she was a student leader in an aviation ramp safety event, working closely with her AAE peers and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited. Not only does she show incessant support to the Department as an alumni representative on various occasions, but also inspires younger PolyU students with her professional expertise and insights on career planning.
