Ir Dr Samson Tam Wai-ho is a successful entrepreneur who founded GSL – the company well known for launching the world’s first electronic Chinese-English dictionary Instant-Dict. GSL was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange within five years of its establishment, which was a record achievement at the time. Having won the Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong and the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award, Dr Tam went on to develop the innovation and technology ecosystem of Hong Kong and the Mainland through nurturing start-ups and being an angel investor. He has been Partner of Hong Kong Inno Angel Fund, Shenzhen Baytech Capital and Shenzhen Zebras Technology Startup Acceleration, all of which are important vehicles that support the next generation of entrepreneurs through investment and incubation activities.
