Following the upgrading of BC 4/F classrooms in 2016/17, 13 classrooms on BC 2/F and 3/F were transformed from traditional teaching rooms into eight modern and technology enhanced rooms and a collaborative learning space. There are two types of classrooms: lecture-style layout with movable chairs and flexible-style layout with movable tables and chairs. Multiple screens were installed for better visibility and displaying information from different sources (e.g. lecturer's computer, students' computer/phone, visualizer) to meet current teaching/learning needs. The rooms feature consistent layouts in vibrant colours and are now brighter with the use of glass wall and more spacious. The rooms can accommodate a class size of 42 to 90 students.
