Dr Cheung is the Associate Dean [Academic Affairs and Global Engagement] for the School of Hotel and Tourism Management.
She has the administrative and leadership skills which would be beneficial to facilitate and drive ESD in SHTM and other schools/departments.

Co-facilitator: Dr Pamsy Hui

Dr Hui is the Senior Teaching Fellow and Assistant Head of the Department of Management and Marketing.
She has education administration and leadership skills which would be beneficial to facilitate and drive ESD in FB and other schools/departments.

Co-facilitator: Dr Sylvia Liu

Dr Sylvia Liu is the Associate Professor and Assistant Dean [Academic Programmes] of the School of Design.
She has the education administration and leadership skills which would be beneficial to facilitate and drive ESD in SD and other schools/departments.

Co-facilitator: Dr Ada lo

Dr Lo is an Associate Professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management.
Her research interest lies in the area of sustainability practices of hospitality companies and consumers’ knowledge and perceptions of hospitality companies’ sustainability practices.

Teaching is vital for instance alleviate climate change, reduce inequality, clean water or stop hunger will come as a result of education and research. The ESD CoP shares the sustainability values and will contribute to the commitment of PolyU to play a leading role in the pursuit of carbon neutrality.

ESD Initiatives:

  • Actively recruit PolyU members across School and Department;
  • Organize in-person training workshops and seminars to train PolyU teachers to students’ learning through the Head, Hands and Heart Framework;
  • Invite local and International Speakers to share the best practices of ESD; and
  • Invite ESD members to share teaching ideas for curriculum design and teaching resources.
