Before joining this course, I had accumulated over a decade of experience spanning R&D, marketing, and management within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Despite my professional background in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, this program helped and provided cutting-edge insights into the field of biologics, particularly in pharmaceutical R&D, commercialization, and industrialization. Throughout the course, we covered a wide range of topics, from biology and pharmacology to GMP, ICH regulations, and IP strategy. Not only did the program refresh my knowledge base, but it also significantly broadened my perspective. Beyond the academic content, both the professors and my classmates demonstrated remarkable professionalism and dedication to the field. The professors shared unique insights from their respective research areas, while my classmates were highly motivated and driven, creating a dynamic and enriching learning environment. This course proved as an excellent bridge between the scientific and business aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.

This interdisciplinary program serves as a vital bridge connecting academic research achievements with real-world commercialization. It not only covers scientific knowledge related to biopharmaceuticals but also delves into regulations, ethics, and business practices. Through the curriculum, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the biopharmaceutical product lifecycle. On the R&D front, I learned about drug development processes and explored the latest advancements in cutting-edge therapies. From a regulatory perspective, the coursework equipped me with knowledge of intellectual property strategies, clinical trial management, drug approval procedures, and ethical considerations. The business courses familiarized me with patent strategies, pricing models, and market access dynamics.
I would particularly like to emphasize the internship project in the second semester. This project provided us with the opportunity to engage early with a company or research lab, allowing us to apply classroom theories in real-world corporate settings, thereby paving the way for our future careers. Additionally, there was an entrepreneurship project in the second semester, which offered the opportunity to develop our own business proposals and create marketing materials. All the courses and projects equip us to take on diverse roles within biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.
