The Alumni Foodie Club is excited to present an exclusive Sake Tasting Night—your gateway to the fascinating world of Japanese sake! Whether you are a curious beginner or a seasoned sake connoisseur, this session will deepen your appreciation for this cherished tradition.

Join Mr Micky Chan, a distinguished Sake Samurai and certified expert (SSA, SSI, WSET L3 in Sake), as he guides you through:
Hands-on tasting of four exceptional sakes 
• Tips on selecting and buying sake 
• Types of sake 
• The art of sake production 
• Sake vs. other wines 

We are also pleased to have invited Dr Gail Jinhui Chang, Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition and a project investigator at RiFood at PolyU, who will share the breakthrough research on fungus-based fat replacers for healthier desserts – a perfect pairing with our sake exploration!
