Mr Chris Luo Weidong is a perfect example of creating impactful entrepreneurship with big data analytics. He co-founded Aurora Mobile in 2011, which attracted investments from world-renowned investors like IDG, Fidelity and Goldman Sachs, and went on to become the first company of its kind listed on Nasdaq (NASDAQ: JG) in 2018. During the COVID-19 outbreak, Mr Luo led his research team to develop a data analytics platform that identifies potential virus carriers and predicts population movement, greatly enhancing the efforts to contain COVID-19 in 334 Chinese cities. His company has worked with more than 648,000 developers on over 1.8 million types of mobile apps, and has more than 500 employees in five locations in China with a market value of over US$1 billion.
