Following last event’s success, the Alumni Affairs and Development Office (AADO) organized the second “Meet and Drink” on 11 July 2019, with the objective to connect alumni from the Faculty of Engineering (FENG).
The event brought together around 90 graduates, including University Fellow Mr Chan Kam-lam and recipients of Outstanding PolyU Alumni Awards, Ir Chan Siu-hung, Ir Arthur Lee Kam-hung and Ir Dr Kenneth Ng Kam-wing as well as engineers, managers and entrepreneurs from the fields of automotive, computers and electronics, energy and power, tele-communication, automation and manufacturing.
The participants were warmly welcomed by Prof. H.C. Man, Dean of FENG, and were delighted to learn about the latest development of the faculty and have a glimpse of the winning research projects at the 47th Geneva Inventions Expo.
Located in Core A on PolyU campus, the Alumni Atrium is a convenient and versatile venue for exchange and networking. Alumni are welcome to book the venue for hosting different types of events including seminar, workshop, exhibition or cocktail reception. Please visit the webpage or contact AADO for more details.
A great opportunity for me to catch up with some old friends and faculty members, and I will encourage my fellow classmates to come back more and make good use of the Alumni Atrium.
