Congratulations to Ms Phyllis LOW Suet Ee, from the MSc in Project Management programme and Mr MUHAMMAD Junaid Khalid, a BSc (Hons) in Building Engineering and Management student on receiving the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Certificate of Excellence!
Ms Caroline GUMBLE, CIOB Chief Executive, presented this prestigious accolade to the two students in October 2024, in recognition of their outstanding achievement in attaining the highest marks on their respective programmes.
Phyllis expressed her feelings, saying, “I am honoured to receive the Certificate of Excellence from the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) for my achievements on my master’s programme at PolyU. This award reflects the supportive academic environment fostered by my professors. My experience at PolyU has been transformative, with a rigorous curriculum and hands-on projects that have encouraged critical and creative thinking. Engaging with industry leaders and CIOB representatives has offered invaluable insights into the construction and building management sectors. I am grateful for the guidance of my mentors and the collaboration with classmates. I look forward to contributing to the field of construction internationally.”
Junaid Khalid said, “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to CIOB for this incredible recognition and for their visit to Hong Kong. I am also grateful to my department for nominating me for this award and providing unwavering support throughout my academic journey. The mentorship and guidance of BRE staff have been instrumental to my development and success, providing invaluable insights into the world of digital construction and beyond. I am excited to continue contributing to the field and look forward to many more opportunities to learn and grow through CIOB and as an alumnus of PolyU.”
This recognition is a tremendous honour, and we are deeply grateful to CIOB for acknowledging our students’ hard work.
