The BRESS Seminar was held successfully on 14th October 2009. It was our honor to have Dr BS Tang, Associate Head ofthe BRE Department and Mr Joseph Chong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors – Young Surveyors Group(HKIS-YSG) to be our guest speakers. Besides, we have also invited 17 committee members from different divisions of the HKIS to share their working experience with our members in the sharing session.
The topic of the Seminar was “Career Path after Graduation” as we would like to provide a channel for our members to consult and seek advice from the professionals regarding their career matters.
The Seminar consisted of 2 sessions – seminar in lecture theatre and small group sharing session in designated classrooms. Our members were active in both sessions and have benefited a lot by communicating and interacting with the professionals.The feedback from participants was generally positive.
On behalf of the 16th BRESS, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Department and all the guests for supporting this event. Without their support, the event would not be such successful. In order to facilitate the personal development of our members, we hope that we would have the opportunity to organize similar functions together with the Department and other professional bodies in future.
