The strong team, comprising Prof. Albert Chan (Principal Investigator),Dr Fan HQ (Department of Building and Real Estate), Dr Mark Hsu (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering), and Dr Stephen Pratt (School of Hotel and Tourism Management),is the winner of the Multi-departmental Participation Award of the PTeC’s Outstanding Professional Services Awards 2015 for the project ‘Provision of Consultancy Study on the Economic Benefits of Infrastructure Investment in Hong Kong’. They were very excited to receive the Award from Ir Prof. Alex Wai, Vice President (Research Development), PolyU and the appreciative applause from guests at the Presentation Ceremony in March 2016.
The project was commissioned by the Development Bureau of the HKSAR government. The multi-departmental award is conferred to consultancy project with the highest contract value for the financial year (minimum collaboration of two departments/units with the 1st department/unit’s contribution being not more than 85% of the contract value and the total contract value not less than HK$300K).
The Award signifies lots of encouragement for the team to continue to pursue the excellence through innovative and application-oriented research.
