Dr. Patrick Fong, our Associate Professor and Associate Head (Partnership) was invited by Faculty of Business, PolyUto share his refreshing views at the ‘7th Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Asia Forum’ with the main theme of ‘Stakeholder Engagement for Responsible Management Education in Contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’on 6 and 7 July.
Dr. Fong gave a presentation in the session, ‘Beyond business schools: Involving other faculties in contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’followed by a panel discussion.
Sustainability is a topic important not just for business schools but for other faculties as well. In fact, different fields should work together, each contributing in their ways, to help achieve sustainability for the future. Dr. Fong had shed light on how the construction and environment disciplines have contributed to SDGs and presented the latest development/thinking in providing a better and more sustainable physical built environment as well as protecting our planet in a responsible and resourceful manner.Interesting questions were raised to the panel members from the floor following their presentations.
