Dr. Dan GAN
Biography
Dr. GAN is an Associate Professor in Chongqing University. He joined the CNERC in August 2019 as a Research Fellow in PolyU for a month. His research interest is in steel structures, steel & concrete composite structures and innovative structures. He studied in Lanzhou University from 2003 to 2012, and earned his Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees there. He has research experience in Harbin Institute of Technology, Chang’an University, Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Shihezi University. Since 2014, he has served as a Lecturer, Associate Professor and Doctoral Tutor at Chongqing University. He has co-authored over 34 publications. Much of his research has been underpinned by competitive grant funding from the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) granting schemes and from industry. The research results won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress of Ministry of Education and the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of Heilongjiang Province.
