Dr. Ke Ke is currently a Research Professor in Chongqing University. He joined CNERC in February 2018 as a Postdoctoral Fellow till February 2020. His research interests include connection behaviour in steel structures, seismic engineering and resilience of steel structures. He is also interested in cross-disciplinary research such as seismic engineering applications of smart materials. Dr. Ke Ke received his B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from Hunan University in 2010, and his Ph.D. in structural engineering from Tongji University in 2016. He has worked as an Assistant Professor, and then, an Associate Professor in Hunan University. He has published over forty technical papers in refereed journals and proceedings of international conferences. He received the T.K. Hsieh Best Paper Award from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) at the U.K. in 2018.
