Leaders converse to forge common vision at China-Europa Forum |
From 12 to 14 July, the third Biennial Conference of the China-Europa Forum was held for the first time in Hong Kong. Jointly organized by PolyU, the Renmin University of China, the China-Europa Forum Foundation and the Asian Cultural Forum, this international conference has attracted nearly 700 participants from Europe and the Chinese mainland. Themed “Converse to Converge: Forging a Common Vision for Chinese and European Societies”, the conference featured the sharing of insights by many prominent speakers including former Prime Minister of France Mr Michel Rocard and former Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Prof. Cheng Siwei.
