II/ At the China International Industry Fair 2010 recently held in Shanghai, PolyU received two awards—the research project “Intelligent Building Life-cycle Diagnosis and Optimization” by Prof. Wang Shengwei of the Department of Building Services Engineering won the Innovation Award, while the “Advanced Railway Monitoring System” by Prof. H. Y. Tam and Prof. S. L. Ho of the Department of Electrical Engineering won the Second Prize.
