On 14 December, prominent business and community leaders, alumni and friends of PolyU formed more than 60 teams to support the “PolyU China South City Invitation Golf Tournament” held in the Mission Hills Golf Club, Dongguan. The event has raised over $2 million and the net proceeds will be contributed towards the development of the new academic structure to be implemented in 2012, students’ all-round development and the University’s long-term development.
