Jointly organized by PolyU’s Department of Applied Mathematics and secondary schools from 18 districts in Hong Kong, the Joint Primary School Mathematics Competition (JPSMC) 2010 has seen enthusiastic participation by over 3,800 students from some 400 primary schools. St. Francis of Assisi’s English Primary School is the Overall Champion while the First Runner-up and Second Runner-up went to Ying Wa Primary School and La Salle Primary School respectively. The winning team of each district and the nine other teams with the highest scores are invited to join the PolyU’s High Achievers Club and the gifted programmes offered by the University. Details>>
