PolyU professor honoured for innovative product design

 

Prof. Michael Siu of PolyU’s School of Design has recently won the 2011 Red Dot Design Award and Honourable Mention respectively for his products “Chinese Chess for the Visually Impaired” and “Filtainer- Container for the treatment of drinking water”. The Red Dot Award, created by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, a famous design association in Germany, is regarded as Oscar Award in international industrial design with a history of over 50 years.
