More than 170 graduates participated in the PolyU Annual Alumni Reunion held at the Student Halls of Residence on 9 June. Themed “Yesterday Once More”, the dinner was filled with nostalgic atmosphere with programmes including oldies song guessing and best-dressed competition. The event was jointly organized by the University and the Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations.

In addition, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of collaboration between Xi’an Jiaotong University and PolyU, and PolyU’s 75th anniversary, the two universities jointly hosted a dinner gathering in Xi’an on 16 June 2012. Nearly 280 participants joined the gathering, including Mr Li Ming, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of the Education Department of the Shaanxi Province (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office); Prof. Wang Jianhua, President of Xi’an Jiaotong University; Prof. Song Xiaoping, Vice President; Prof. Timothy W. Tong, President of PolyU; Prof. Angelina Yuen, Vice President (Institutional Advancement and Partnership); recipients of PolyU Bauhinia Cup Outstanding Entrepreneur Awards; as well as teachers,  graduates and students of the collaborative programmes. The event was jointly organized by the Alumni Affairs and Development Office and Chinese Mainland Affairs Office of PolyU, and Xi’an Tongli International College.
