PolyU honours outstanding entrepreneurs PolyU hosts Fifth International Conference on Brand Management Alumni join hands to build a greener Hong Kong Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations elects new Board members
| Some 500 participants from academia and the business sector attended the Fifth International Conference on Brand Management, jointly organized by PolyU’s Asian Centre for Brand Management and the Hong Kong Design Centre, on 1 December. The event was themed Brand Driven Innovation: Design, Management and Value. Officiating guests of the Conference were Mr Duncan W. Pescod, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology) of the HKSAR Government and Prof. Thomas K.S. Wong, PolyU Vice President (Management) and Chair Professor of Nursing. Mr Pescod said, “I was delighted to read recently that the University has been recognized as having one of the best international campuses and policies in the world at the Fifth Quacquarelli Symonds - Apple international Higher Education Conference. The PolyU was cited for giving students a holistic and professionally oriented education. The Conference is a wonderful example of this.” Details >>
