Giving back to their alma mater

On 21 November, PolyU has named the lecture theatre N003 facing the greenery lawn after alumnus Mr Yu Tung-shan, in appreciation of his ardent support for his alma mater. At the naming ceremony, Mr Yu presented his painting of the Lantau Island as a gift to the University.

Recently, the University has also received another generous donation from Outstanding Alumnus Ir Dr Wong Tit-shing. It will be used to support Service-Learning projects in Rwanda and to set up Wong Tit-shing Student Exchange Scholarship to nurture students' sense of social responsibility and to broaden their global outlook.
