JEC Outstanding Engineering Project Awards 2016

Mr Lam Ho Nam, Karu, Final-year DD student in EE and BA, won the Silver Award in the JEC Outstanding Engineering Project Awards 2016 with the project SoROBO.

Based on his Final-year project: “Development of a Social Robot Based on Raspberry Pi”, Mr Lam and his teammate Mr Benjamin Lee were able to develop a social robot that can communicate and interact with socially-impaired children and Hong Kong’s kindergarten students at a very affordable price.

The Silver Award comes with a cash prize of HK$30,000 and let’s congratulate Karu for his achievement!
