Students from CARITAS TUEN MUN MARDEN FDN SEC SCHOOL and UNITED CHRISTIAN COLLEGE (KOWLOON EAST) visited the Department on 31-March. Our visitors include 16 Secondary 3 students from Caritas, 4 Secondary 2 students from United Christian and their teachers. The students are all ethnic minorities.
During the 90-minute visit, students were introduced to the basic principles of electromagnetism and how electromagnetism is used in the power industry. In addition, students were given the chance to apply the concept by developing an electric train and a basic motor. They all able to build the train and motor successfully.
