Academic Staff

Dr LIU Junwei received the Bachelor of Engineering in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2012, and the Doctor of Philosophy in Power Electronics from Department of Electrical Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2018.  He was a Research Fellow in Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from March 2022 to January 2023. He worked as a Research Scientist at Centre for Advances in Reliability and Safety, Hong Kong from 2021 to 2022. Dr LIU was an awardee of the RGC Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (2013 to 2017).  His research interests include power electronics, circuits and systems, wireless power transfer, high power converters, transportation electrification, and renewable energy systems.
