We have a range of different experiences for you to try out including: - Virtual Becomes Reality: A Stanford VR Experience This will give you a good overview of how to use the equipment. - Mona Lisa Beyond the Glass Go to the Louvre Museum in Paris and experience Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous painting. - Becoming Homeless: A Human Experience Interact with your environment to attempt to save your home and to protect yourself and your belongings as you walk in another’s shoes - The Stanford Ocean Acidification Experience A virtual underwater ecosystem to allow you to observe firsthand what rocky reefs are expected to look like. - COLOSSE A real-time virtual reality storytelling experience And many more!

Pronunciation Fixer: Identifying and Solving Common English-Speaking Problems among Chinese

English is the language of global communication and our medium of instruction. Therefore, clear pronunciation for easy comprehension by a global audience is a vital skill. These workshops aim to enable participants to identify common problems with individual sounds as well as common sound problems over longer stretches of speech. As English-speaking issues are different for Putonghua and Cantonese speakers, separate workshops are offered to cater to each group. These workshops introduce exercises, physical practices and useful tools to help participants become more effective English communicators. Registration
