The Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations (Federation) hosted a gathering dinner on 20 June 2019, bringing together alumni leaders and Departmental Alumni Liaison Officers (DALOS) from over 20 alumni associations and academic departments to share best practice and ideas of alumni engagement and development.
Mr Alex C B Wong, President of the Federation and Ms Belinda Chow, Director of Alumni Affairs and Development of PolyU presented the “Distinguished Member Alumni Association Awards” to four alumni associations to recognize their efforts and contributions. They include:
• Rehabilitation Sciences Alumni Association of PolyU
(Most Successful Membership Recruitment Award (based on growth rate))
• The Hong Kong Community College Alumni Association, PolyU
(Most Successful Membership Recruitment Award (based on growth number))
• The HK PolyU MBA Alumni Association
(Most Active Alumni Association Award)
• The Accounting and Finance Graduates Association of PolyU
(Most Outstanding Fund-raiser Award)
The alumni leaders and DALOs were encouraged to closely work with the Federation and the Alumni Affairs and Development Office to foster ties among alumni and support the development of PolyU.
