We offer a wide range of scholarships for undergraduate students
To honour the academic and non-academic excellence of our prospective undergraduate students, a wide range of scholarships are provided to both local and non-local students. Special subsidies are also provided for overseas exchange to broaden students' professional knowledge and widen their personal horizons.
PolyU has always attached great importance to holistic education and strives to nurture students’ global outlook. Starting from the 2025/26 academic year, an additional HK$30,000 overseas exchange funding will be offered to all undergraduate students who receive the academic Entry Scholarship to support their participation in student exchange activities. The University aspires to provide opportunities for all undergraduates to engage in at least one non-local learning experience by the 2027/28 academic year.

PolyU is proud to welcome the best and brightest students each year, rewarding excellence with a variety of merit-based scholarships. All outstanding applicants to our full-time undergraduate programs, both local and international, will be considered for academic and non-academic scholarships.
How can I apply for an Entry Scholarship?
All applicants are automatically considered for academic scholarships—no separate application needed. Awardees will be notified individually.
Notes:
(1) A student can concurrently hold more than one scholarship administered by the University in an academic year if the total value of scholarships received by him/her does not exceed his/her annual tuition fee payable plus an allowance of HK$50,000 unless otherwise stipulated. (2) PolyU reserves the right to change the terms or withdraw the scholarships. In case of any dispute/disagreement, the University’s decision is final.
